Summer is here, and Walsall is bursting into life with a packed calendar of events for all ages. From vibrant festivals and outdoor performances to hands-on workshops and community celebrations, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this July.
🎉 Bostin’ Black Country Bash – A Free Family Festival!

Walsall kicks off the summer in true Black Country style with a brand-new festival celebrating local pride, culture, and community. The Bostin’ Black Country Bash brings live music, food, funfair rides, and market stalls to the Arboretum – and it’s completely free!
Catch headline act King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys, along with Basil Gabbidon Band, Gabhru Panjab De, and many more. Hosted by DJ Dicky Dodd, it promises a brilliant day out for all the family. This year also marks the 20th anniversary of the UNESCO Global Geopark network – a perfect reason to celebrate the Black Country’s rich heritage.

The New Art Gallery is a hub of creativity this summer, offering inspiring exhibitions and hands-on activities for children, teens, and families.
Sunday Art Club (Sundays, 12–3pm, free, ages 4+) continues weekly throughout July with imaginative themes like building mini greenhouses, painting big cats, and crafting castles and knights.
