Sutton Coldfield is preparing a bid to become the UK Town of Culture in 2028, as part of plans to celebrate its 500th anniversary.
The Town Council is developing a new cultural strategy, shaped by feedback from residents, to strengthen the local arts scene and showcase the town’s heritage.
If successful, the bid could bring national attention and investment, building on existing events and cultural initiatives across the area.
