A free art club for children aged four and above now takes place weekly at the New Art Gallery in Walsall.
Every Sunday between 12pm-3pm, children can learn to paint, sculpt and craft alongside local artists.
The upcoming schedule includes:
- Sunday 7 July – Drawing reflections in spheres
- Sunday 14 July – Dream Catchers
- Sunday 21 July – Wish Trees
- Sunday 28 July – Cardboard Buildings
- Sunday 4 August – Animal house tote bags
- Sunday 11 August – Nomad Drawing – pen on tracing paper
- Sunday 18 August – Box Heads
- Sunday 25 August – Mini Furniture Models
A Walsall Council spokesperson said, “The Sunday Art Club is a great chance for our young children to have fun and express themselves through art and creative activities.
“It runs all-year around, and each week has a different focus and activity.
“All sessions are free of charge, and are delivered by artists, so why not bring your little ones along, give it a go and enjoy being arty!”
To join the Sunday Art Club, simply turn up on the day.
