Walsall Council has issued its updated waste and recycling schedule for the 2025 Christmas and New Year period, confirming a series of temporary changes that will affect around 35,000 households across the borough.
Council services will pause on Thursday 25 December, Friday 26 December, and Thursday 1 January 2026, with collections on all other days operating as normal. During this time, many residents will see their bins collected on alternative dates.

Bulky Waste, Replacement Bins & Commercial Waste
Bulky waste collections and the delivery of new or replacement bins will not operate on the three closure dates. The same applies to commercial waste services, which have the following revised collection dates:
